The beautiful Kingscote Rattan Planter is woven by hand by specialist craftspeople, meaning each one is unique. Made for a long life outdoors, this chunky, weatherproof rattan planter is crafted from a type of palm tree called calamus rotang, which looks like bamboo but has a strong inner core for added robustness and durability. Its black recycled plastic liner sits directly on the ground, which keeps the rattan from rotting and means plants can go straight in without an inner plant pot.

This planter is 100% watertight and naturally frost-proof, and will evolve in colour as it weathers in over time. This extra-large version has a 220-litre capacity, but it's also available in large and medium sizes, as well as in a variety of other designs that include the Kingscote Rattan Water Butt.
