A new year approaches full of fresh promises and challenges; but before we rush headlong into it we’d like to take a moment to reflect on the last year.
We’ve had a great year at Garden Trading, our office family has continued to grow and we’ve introduced a whole host of new products that you, our loyal customers, have loved too.
Here are a few of our personal favourites from the past year, we’d love to hear yours too:
Set of 4 Fireside Tools
These stylish tools made from wrought iron are a favourite in the office – particularly with the men, we’re convinced that there must be something in the DNA of men that makes them all a secret pyromaniac!
Sheila Maid Ceiling Clothes Dryer
The iconic energy saving laundry airer has been a proud part of the British Household for over 100 years and we’re always happy to continue a tradition. This stylish dryer attaches to the ceiling to air clothes out of the way, allowing you to feel good about saving the environment whilst freeing up space in your home. What’s not to love?
We’re all guilty of throwing those potato peelings into the rubbish bin, but with this stylish little number sitting on the kitchen worktop we’ll never have that excuse again. We think the plastic seal on the lid is the crowning glory, keeping those composting smells where they belong – in the bin!
Paris Pendant Light
Oh to be in Paris, we dropped many hints about romantic weekends away over the course of the year but sadly none of our partners picked up on the hint. Instead we’ll make do with installing this charming light, inspired by the ceiling lights found in Brasseries all over Paris. Maybe this year?
If there is anything the Garden Trading staff are guilty of buying too many of, it’s these lovely Cornbury Votives. Inspired by a trip to the Cornbury Festival, known for its chic wilderness and stylish glamping we simply had to recreate the vibe with these stylish votives perfect for both indoor and outdoor entertaining.
We’re delighted with this nifty little kitchen accessory which always raises questions when spotted in the showroom. Not only can we now ensure we always use our eggs in date order, but this stylish egg run creates a great talking point while waiting for the kettle to boil.
Sadly, based in Oxfordshire we don’t live anywhere near the sea - but we can dream! With this simple clock synchronised with the lunar cycle, we always know whether it’s high or low tide…so we’ll know when to take the yacht out when the office lottery syndicate finally cashes in.
We can’t wait to see what the next year will bring.
