Bonfire Night Essentials

03 November 2015

It’s that time of year again… the leaves are turning gorgeous shades of orange and brown, the temperature is dropping and Bonfire Night is just around the corner.

Bonfire Night is a great excuse for getting together with friends and family, watching some stunning fireworks, warming your fingers around a mug of hot cocoa, digging into a toffee apple and toasting some marshmallows as the bonfire dies down.

Public events can often be very crowded, and you end up craning around people’s heads to see or spending half of your night in the queue for a hot drink. Why not host your own event this year?

Instead of building a bonfire and risking ruining your lawn, invest in a brazier instead. Our Kadai with a stand is a great multi-purpose item, you can use it as a large BBQ in the summer and in the winter light a roaring fire, perfect for keeping everyone warm while watching the fireworks and handy for toasting marshmallows too.

Make sure you’re as set to keep your brazier stoked all night, if you’re using logs keep them stored nearby with a handy Log Store, and keep the fire going with a Fire Blower. If you’re really organised, browse our full fireside range for protective gloves, ash shovels for the clean-up and many more useful tools.

Outdoor Lighting can be helpful to add some illumination to your festivities, but if you don’t want to install permanent lighting, some pretty Votives with pillar candles will do the job and look gorgeous too!

Is there anything better than coming in from the cold to a hot mug of steaming cocoa? Our Enamel Mugs will keep your cocoa toasty warm and being more durable than china are perfect for taking outdoors. Pair with our Enamel Milk Pan for the complete set.
